Disney animator Heidi Gilbert recently put together this original animatic based on the Wicked musical in an attempt to see about having it done as an animated movie.

I saw this on Broadway on a school trip to New York and it was and has always been one of my favorite things, I cannot believe this animation… I had chills all the way through. I was lucky enough to have seen it with Dena Mendez and Kristin Chenoweth….and didnt know how lucky I was back then to see them doing Wicked together… So I just love this, this needs to happen so badly.
